Westcroft Gardens is comprised of 27 acres, including 13 acres of woods and 6 acres of botanical gardens.  This has made it a haven for the Southeast Michigan bird populations, as well as for the migrating birds.  Bird watchers come often to walk though the woods and gardens and have seen many birds including:
